This is a list of bookmarks that I have found useful for photography and other things. Since I'm kind of old-school with the internet it seemed obligatory.

Photography Web Sites
Strobist - David Hobby is publishing a compendium of knowledge regarding the use of illumination in photography. Pay particular attention to the Lighting 101, Lighting 102 and Strobist Bootcamp sections if you are interested in learning.
Digital Photography Review - If you're looking for the specifications of an outdated, used camera you might want to buy or are interested in the newest software for digital workflow, don't make a decision without consulting Digital Photography Review.
Technology Web Sites
Gizmodo - With their juvinile humor, they provide useful information about gadgets, gizmos and doohickeys. I find them a good place to visit to keep up to date on emerging technology.

Skin - This book tells you everything you need to know about how to light skin. One of the interesting things it talks about is the cultural and practical significance of different shades of skin. My wife bought it for my birthday and I skimmed over the parts on monitor calibration thinking that I knew everything I needed. I went back after reading the rest of the book and found that there's always more to learn.
